I went into this assuming it would turn out like the majority and it’d drop it, but wow I’m glad I gave this a chance. So refreshing to see an interesting plot, with non-toxic relationships and fun characters with plenty of chemistry. Love the variety of characters, such as Ms. An who’s mute for example.

I wish more BLs focused on plot and character development rather than making it as horrible as possible in the beginning, then suddenly doing a 180 where the ML suddenly has a change of heart later. Or just straight up toxic stories from beginning to end, I’m so tired of it.

The way I remember this hot mess was just a oneshot we all laughed off thinking it's weird asf. And now it's an actual series, how??

I spent so much time from my precious life and I've never wanted my time back so hard, this mf man, is supposed to be her support after she has been literally physically and mentally abused her WHOLE LIFE. But my guy is the most toxic unsupportive man in the universe, she gets no break. Instead he just gets hella mad when she uses her so called "freedom" to do something she actually wants to do and to resolve their "fights" ( only riftan being a bitch ) they have sex, because mind you ( She feels like she needs to to make him happy ) and when he gets the sex hes all happy again. She's not allowed to be alone with another man, which is litterally her only other friend, she is not allowed to learn magic for literally no reason, like my man is made to be cute and a bit over protective but instead he's just mentally abusing her all over again. She is a heroine with a disability which so rare and unique, but the one helping her isn't the love of her life (RIFTAN THE WHORE) but her friend the mage dude (love him) and she is not even allowed to be with him alone because riftan is fucking insecure. And to finish this shit of, if you like riftan then you need to seriously rethink your values this guy is literally just a toxic, mentally abusing, overprotective "I dont want you close to other men" trash. Ps. he screams at her all the time like what."
