is the novel any good? im seeing 204 chapters and i don’t wanna waste my time
personally, it's very good and enjoyable, I ended up liking his own story more than any other "If You Can" series, Grayson as a protagonist, and overall character is NOT BORING AT ALL, the story gives you a better picture about his "unique" character, and the dynamic between him and Dane is marvelous, they match each other's freak

after recently rereading the novel, i still think jiwook should have died during his suicide attempt, it was genuinely so fucking disturbing reading the second GR scene. I get jiwook did something similar to juyeon but through out the course of the story juyeon did much worse, he mentally destroyed jiwook and made him extremely co-dependent on him, forcing him to live as a sub human by his side. And what annoys me the most is that when jiwook shows signs of distress due to juyeon’s actions, juyeon acts like the person he incapacitated is a burden to him, constantly using his anxiety and fear of abandonment against him.
the novel doesn’t flesh out jiwook’s character in any way towards the end either, the author just makes him feel remorse for what he doesn’t even fully remember, and gives him a mental illness arc that doesn’t resolve itself.
in other words this work is absolute garbage that caters almost entirely to juyeon’s character.
