I may be a little critical but it seems like weak writing wise.
You could have started the story with that scene.
Now I’m guessing we won’t get another “supernatural” element until the end of season 1. That’s how most of these stories go.

Maybe it’s just me but the dialogue and behavior is the very similar across multiple Korean josei smut. Characters are near (keyword “near”) cookie-cutter-copies of each other.
Even if the FL is not a virgin they always say “Is that a stake/sword/etc?” “What’s that thing rubbing against me?” Like legit the same dialogue across multiple series. Idk if it’s the English translation but it is becoming tiring— that is, this repetitiveness that I’m seeing. It’s making me lose interest in reading manhwas.
Idk if you also read BL smut but they have the same dialogue there too! I think its just supposed to emphasize the inexperience/shock that the FL/ML has, even if they aren'f a virgin. Am i tired of it? Nahhhh but i can see it being annoying
