I gotta say that I'm kinda confused as to why so many readers want Thalia to end up with the knight. Sure he's the only person that's nice to her at this point in the story but why is the bar so lowwwww. I understand how the ML might be frustrating to some people but why are we expecting that the ML is gonna be another lovesick fool since the very beginning? If you have no patience or can't deal with morally grey topics then I recommend you either read the novel to know what's gonna happen or just drop this story in general cause this is an incredibly slow burn and the story is still not finished lmao

I read until chapter 47 and I gotta say that this was a pretty disappointing read. I decided to give this a try cause the drawing style is right up my alley. Since the very beginning I knew that this story wouldn't be "moral" but the amount of rape put into this is just annoying. The way the first season ended was so bad that reading through the specials was honestly a pain in the ass. The MC had some potential but now he's just a naive sex doll. The ML being an obsessive jerk was very predictable but he has no personality whatsoever. And I can see that there might be some plot cooking in the second season but I just don't wanna get as disappointed as I got with the first season and the ending that honestly seemed kinda abrupt.
I love how unhinged this story is sometimes. Just breaching all these topics and not making the leads these picture perfect people. I feel like many people might drop this story due to the events that are coming but maybe that's for the better? Less complaining about how "imperfect" they and their choices are.
and to think that this is just the beginning and shit is about to go down soon. y'all will probably be mad when you see what I'm talking about, especially without context as to why stuff happened the way it happened ┗( T﹏T )┛

her story is tragic enough that it's hard to outright hate her since we can clearly see what had made her so jaded and kinda twisted, even at such a young age. you can just see she's not inherently bad but she's never had any healthy outlets, no one taught her emotion control so she's just continuing all of the worst patterns since that's all she knows. all she has is her nanny that only cares about her cause she looks like her mother. she's been in survival mode ever since she got to that castle.
The novel is honestly heartbreaking, tragic and traumatizing to both the FL and ML. The morals are grey at some points of the story so if you're uncomfortable with topics like rape/dubcon, miscarriage, physical and mental trauma or ED then you might wanna sit this one out. All of the highs end in devastating lows. The slow burn is so slow that I am unsure whether it'll get reignited ever again. The main characters have a lot of chemistry but there's so much things left unsaid between them it's crazy. There's a lot of frustration if you're a reader but personally I find their tragic story worth reading. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

I personally read on kakao using a translator. it's pretty cheap on there tbh. but i have seen someone in the comments on here sharing a link to a site where you can read everything for free. It's in Arabic so you'd need to translate it if you don't know that language tho.
The novel is still ongoing and so far it's not looking good in terms of a happy ending. The author might still surprise us I guess? But after what happened in the latest chapters it will be hard to do

I'm reading on kakao page which is the original site where the chapters get uploaded. I use machine translation so it's not 100% accurate but it keeps making the same mistakes so it's easy to figure out what's going on. The fee to read on there isn't that big and you get a free chapter pass every few hours so I recommend that! But I did see someone in the comments here share a link to some site where they consistently update new chapters but it's in Arabic so unless you speak that language you will have to use some translation tool too.

He agrees to having sex in the end but it's uncomfortable nonetheless. ED (eating disorder) cause of Thalia's relationship with food and how she refuses to eat after certain events. Idk how detailed you want the spoilers to be so I'm deliberately leaving things out
