her story is tragic enough that it's hard to outright hate her since we can clearly see what had made her so jaded and kinda twisted, even at such a young age. you can just see she's not inherently bad but she's never had any healthy outlets, no one taught her emotion control so she's just continuing all of the worst patterns since that's all she knows. all she has is her nanny that only cares about her cause she looks like her mother. she's been in survival mode ever since she got to that castle.
The novel is honestly heartbreaking, tragic and traumatizing to both the FL and ML. The morals are grey at some points of the story so if you're uncomfortable with topics like rape/dubcon, miscarriage, physical and mental trauma or ED then you might wanna sit this one out. All of the highs end in devastating lows. The slow burn is so slow that I am unsure whether it'll get reignited ever again. The main characters have a lot of chemistry but there's so much things left unsaid between them it's crazy. There's a lot of frustration if you're a reader but personally I find their tragic story worth reading. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

I personally read on kakao using a translator. it's pretty cheap on there tbh. but i have seen someone in the comments on here sharing a link to a site where you can read everything for free. It's in Arabic so you'd need to translate it if you don't know that language tho.
The novel is still ongoing and so far it's not looking good in terms of a happy ending. The author might still surprise us I guess? But after what happened in the latest chapters it will be hard to do

I'm reading on kakao page which is the original site where the chapters get uploaded. I use machine translation so it's not 100% accurate but it keeps making the same mistakes so it's easy to figure out what's going on. The fee to read on there isn't that big and you get a free chapter pass every few hours so I recommend that! But I did see someone in the comments here share a link to some site where they consistently update new chapters but it's in Arabic so unless you speak that language you will have to use some translation tool too.

Rape/dubcon cause Thalia almost gets assaulted multiple times + she coerces/talks Barkas into their first time under the pressure from her mother and the whole scene is just extra painful to read since she is forcing herself to do it too. He agrees to having sex in the end but it's uncomfortable nonetheless. ED (eating disorder) cause of Thalia's relationship with food and how she refuses to eat after certain events. Idk how detailed you want the spoilers to be so I'm deliberately leaving things out

Guys why are you even reading this and spending time on it if all you do is complain about how much you hate it? It's fiction, it doesn't need to be moral for you to like it. Fiction isn't there to make you feel comfortable. Just because something bad is depicted it doesn't mean it's supported. Jinx isn't peak writing but it does seem to scratch the itch for many people.
Jjk is kinda showing human feelings finally???? He still has a looooong way to go since he still does everything the way he wants but I guess this is marginal improvement? I think jk didn’t have any concern for others people. His focus is only on the mma improvement and did all it takes to get him at the top. And now he’s interested about someone else but didn’t grasp the meaning from those new emotions.
For him Dan is just a way to go further, to be the top but at the same time he sense some changes inside him and confuse him. I think is on his way to redemption but it’ll be loooooong ahahah

Okay so my prediction is that, as everyone can clearly make out of the story, JK will lose that match. Not sure how bad it'll get, if it'll be a small thing or if he'll need a long rehabilitation program, but it seems like that will be the turning point in the story. I think he might get really violent out of anger and either blame Kim Dan (since he's his jinx now) or take it out on Kim Dan (not necessarily "typical" physical abuse but his way of being and attitude towards Kim Dan might become more cruel.)
But the question here is, will Kim Dan just take it? Cause if we think about it, he owes JK a lot rn. He paid off loan sharks, gave him home, paid his grandma's hospital bills so it won't be easy to leave since Kim Dan probably feels indebted to him (he also loves him but that's a different kind of argument). And I don't think JK realizes if he has any feelings for him, if he even has any since all his actions just point towards him being a selfish asshole that just doesn't like it when others mess with his things, meaning he might not even think of Kim Dan better than his ex-es.
So in conclusion i fear Kim Dan won't be the one to leave, more like JK will force him to leave in a fit of anger. Maybe he'll even destroy grandma's precious furniture that Kim Dan brought with himself since they're already there.

What happened that his attitude towards Claude changed? Did he get possessed as a kid? That seems to be the only answer.
I think aeternitas has been around since the brother was a kid, waiting to take over him (which I think he could only do once he was killed by Claude). My guess is that he felt inferior to Claude or something since it was mentioned he had no magical power compared to him. Which might explain his changing attitude (plus aeternitas influence)
I think that mainly it was because of aeternitas's black magic that what what made it worse his mother pressureing him about becoming the emperor which was obsessive if you read early chapters.. But I think mainly he was a good person who truly loved claude which makes everything even sadder ╥﹏╥
This is too much. Adele is just manipulating him at this point. "He hurt her cause he didn't show up" sure, but that happened because of an important matter that HAD to be solved or this whole fiasco wouldn't even be happening right now. Wouldn't it be easier to wait for him and THEN do the whole plan but with him involved? I'm sure he would have understood.

Nah, I'm not missing anything, I know what she's doing and why she's doing it but it's just dumb. If he knew what's happening then they could orchestrate something together that would be more grand but she decided to manipulate him and force him into sorting his feelings out very quickly.
