ML is very toxic yes but you people need to stop shouting for a pairing between the MC and that older guy just because you dislike the ML. There’s no chemistry between that hyung character and the MC - instead advocate for him to sort out his life Jesus Christ.

i don’t understand how the comments aren’t putting 2+2 together like the mc and ml used to rub dicks and kiss god knows what else when they were in high school…I don’t know if it was a romantic relationship or purely sexual but they were clearly in love with each other but never told one another hence all this angst…and something involving the half brother must have happened probably exposed them ?? lord knows
the people who are cheering for Rick…he slut shamed the mc tried to force himself on him both sexually and romantically. he is a creep and lowkey a predator. he knows the mc doesn’t love him romantically but tried to force something that wasn’t there and got angry that he couldn’t - he almost got physically violent with the mc. he is a loser and i am so glad he is out of the mc’s life. the characters were all terrible but this was apparently the authors first work so I’ll just ignore this and wait for a new release from her.

The way the ML is hated makes me giggle because yes he played with the uke’s feelings BUT he’s a traumatised guy who’s trying to give justice to his murdered parents ?? Because of this context I am less inclined to witch hunt him like the rest of the comments. Like I am sorry but I would do anything to find out what happened to my parents if they also met the same fate. Or maybe everyone has mysteriously forgotten? Just like the uke tbh. And for everyone going yes he’s giving him a taste of his own medicine…by having sexual relations with him under the context of a taunt?? He’s in love with that man and wants to fuck. He never fell out of love in contrast with the ML who didn’t even know he was in love until the end of the last arc. There’s such a big difference so he’s never going to truly give him the “taste of his medicine”. I’m just not impressed because the uke’s actions are just so immature I can’t take him nor the development of this relationship seriously. He’s currently too self-sabotaging which again plot conveniences for the inevitable end game.
So again another point is that because the uke never fell out of love and he insists on suffering…how can you champion this as strength? This blind praise of him as strength when in real life I would honestly consider him a victim of his own actions. This isn’t strength. It is just nonsensical writing and and in real life this would have serious consequences.
Because I’ve read this authors other works I can’t recall any forced sex scenes…except that one dubious scene in her vampire work where the uke was grinding on the seme who was asleep. that was very weird no matter what the outcome. But no actual forced sex scenes so I have a feeling it may not happen here either but since this is most definitely her worst work I don’t have solid confidence. Because the uke has set boundaries before and even though their sex scenes were under well the context of the MC unbelievably believing the ML’s lies it wasn’t forced in the way this chapter has left off…but god what happened to this author. ALL the characters in this story suck including the so called consenting professor who btw ALSO manipulated the uke and for a second looked like he was about to force him. You people have low bars like bare minimum expectations of MLs. It’s okay to say that both the ML and the professor suck. Like it’s okay I promise you

Everyone is cheering on the uke but his character development is teetering on dangerous levels because there is a limit to the headstrong prideful martyr uke trope. Where they accept suffering and justify it; for example the uke saying the seme didn’t have to come and pay the money. Like so you would’ve preferred to be sexually assaulted instead? Some comments even agreeing with this stubbornness…be so serious. Seriously. And from the raws he looks like he’s about to hit that trope full force. Anyways at the end of the manhwa they’re going to get back together so I need the author to make the development…less tropey. Because for the comments saying the uke is different from the obsessive submissive uke; he’s really not he’s just adopting another trope and then he’ll go back to the previous one albeit with more development.
I don’t know why everyone loves Rick he’s a loser he refused to take the hint that Mitch doesn’t like him romantically. Their brief coupling is so forced that I have to laugh there’s zero chemistry. Moreover Rick’s loser behaviour to Ed claiming Mitch in front of him put me off like be so for real. The guy only finally let you guys become a thing because he’ trying to forget his feelings for another man not because he actually likes you. I genuinely dislike characters like Rick who have zero self respect and can’t take a hint that the MC will never like them back like that.
