This might be a hot take but personally LITC did not hit for me as much as it did for other people. There was nothing inherently wrong with the story, and I’m sure i felt empty the day I finished it (as I do for many BLs i commit a lot of time to reading) but with other stories i find very impactful, I find myself revisiting the story, talking about it online, reading fics, etc… but the day i finished LITC was honestly the last day i willingly consumed any LITC content. Im not hating on the story, i guess it just wasnt my cup of tea and im curious to see if anyone felt the same way after finishing it.
