The Ike’s ex wife reason of leaving him is absurd, she was mad about him asking for her Receipts so he can keep up with it. My mom do that and a whole other bunch of people do it, so what’s the problem? But if she was spending her own money, then I know she mad but his money? GIVE HIM THE RECEIPTS SIS(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
You don't just ask out of the blue for the other person to give you all their receipts - how finances are handled within a relationship has to be agreed upon after a discussion. And there are other ways to handle it - say, they decide on sharing the bills (rent, electric, food, etc.) and everything else they pay for out of their own leftover money. Not all married couples have only one shared bank account.
Marriage doesn't always work like that hun. All marriages are different but asking someone for all of their receipts can be seen as overbearing, intrusive, and controlling. Judging by the personality of the uke he can be a bit overbearing albeit unknowingly. I also don't think that receipts were the only problem in their relationship.

Don’t be disrespectful and call someone ya “hun” because I ain’t ya partner or your child, so move on somewhere with that.
The only disrespectful one i see you is you. Toodles hun sorry you mad JadaSnare
I also don’t think that you should ask for all receipts in a marriage. Unless your partner has a spending problem or some circumstance, asking for receipts can be seen as you not trusting your partner or being over controlling.
