the ml is a guy and he has a demon(?) sidekick or so thats following him, and i think the reason for that is bc the ml needs to be strong to enter dungeon-like or smth to make money to pay his debts. and also he needs to fulfill the 100 or 99 wishes of the sidekick for smth, and fulfilling wishes makes him stronger too.
