it's a pretty common trope in fiction in general, i remember first encountering it in some hetslop romance novel that was assigned reading in high school kek
I think DosObake had two couples and each couple had this habit of having their spirit leave their bodies.
There's also a manhwa called "Not for the faint of heart" which has a ghost whose body is in a coma.
Also I forgot to add that DosObake only has non con like constantly and the bottom of the main couple kind of gets Stockholm syndrome so just so you know...
