Omg the sister makes me so mad. I’m on chapter 25 but does anyone know if the sister treats her brother better eventually? Like omg she acting like she’s the only one who became a slave and has no empathy towards him and just wants him to die! He literally went through hell on the battlefield in hopes to come back to her and she treats him like sh!t. Her brother is too nice and she need to realize her brother’s worth because she would have already died without him!

I read this story before years ago but somehow I skipped over the incest, abuse, and rape that the Ike went through with his brother! This story makes my stomach hurt it was so sad and the seme is a little too yandere. However in the end, when the seme cut a deal with uke’s brother or something, I don’t think the intentions were that bad because the seme was a child as well at the time and he was only a servant so he had no power over the situation or any way of sneaking away the uke. He would not have been able to succeed if he tried so before he left he gave the uke good memories in hopes that it would make the ukes bad memories less painful. But it’s still a fucked situation. Second, in some reviews people are trying to say this is racist against Muslims and while I do agree that they are using some Arab stereotypes, I don’t think this can be considered racist. I mean so many stories whether it’s yaoi or heterosexual smut use stereotypes of countries who practice Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism, and especially Nuns. And nobody bats an eye and screams they’re being racist. Nobody is saying that only these messed up things happen in Arabic or islamic countries.
I REALLY love this manga. It’s so good to see the different ways a doctor would heal a variety of patients and very realistic too. I wonder if the author has a medical background because their knowledge is spot on! However I do feel like for those without a medical/biology background, it will be hard to understand what Anami is saying. Author needs to dumb down the medical jargon a bit but other than that it’s an amazing manga!
