But I think Rinette is almost as bad as Kanna. Both of them killed innocent people because of their obsession: Kanna for status, and Rinette for blondie's love. Also, both are manipulative. We just have more sympathy for Rinette cuz she's our mc and less insane than Kanna.

but the reason for their current cause is what makes them different. rinette wants revenge bc she was betrayed in her past life while kanna wants status bc of her selfish envy and greed. u can think of this like: rinette's reason is justified while kanna's isn't. btw, im not justifying mc bc it's true that both are both manipulative.
that's why i may have to disagree when you said: "We just have more sympathy for Rinette cuz she's our mc". bc if kanna's the mc here instead of rinette, i would still sympathize rinnete more and drop the story bc of having kanna as the mc.

Og villainess treated his sister like shit and him like an object, it's only obvious he wouldn't like her. I know the story wouldn't progress if he and his sister continued distrusting/disliking mc, but imo, he and his sister forgave the og body's past actions wayyyy too quick. You don't forgive your abuser just bc they did some good deeds and didn't mock your sister's dress for once. He's also sincere and kind, and even after all that og villainess has done, the reason he wants to break off the engagement is mostly bc of her grandfather. In other transmigration novels, the ML would have scorned the mc and been a total asshole towards her. This ML hasn't so what's wrong with y'all?
And that's because I also prefer Noah as a ML because they wouldn't have a baggage left by og villainess's acts.
