I’m thinking “Nagisa’s role” that the father is referring to is “son.” It sounds like he killed Nagisa’s mother because she wasn’t properly fulfilling her role as “wife”.
Maybe that’s my own wishful thinking that Nagisa doesn’t have any other creepy expectations placed on him.

I think Jirou might be the host based on the fact that he is the eldest (28); whereas Rei and Kazuha are both 26 years old. Granted, we don’t have everybody’s age yet, since chapter 5.2 only did character profiles on the alters that we know thus far..
I dont think that’s true, since his alters can be younger than the host, like Itstuki or Shiki or Mustumi, then there is no reason why they cant be older than the host.
True, true. Their age might be more of a ‘mental age’.
For some reason I still get the feeling that the answer isn’t going to be so obvious. Perhaps I just want there to be an unexpected twist nobody saw coming! Wishful thinking, maybe?
