Honestly, at this point, I believe he is trying to either give us a message or, by all means, an "over exaggerated" experience of his own. Let us say he was sexually abused as a child and it was nothing like this, thus the word "over exaggerated" being used. So please, don't get me wrong as if I am belittling any type of sexual abuse.
Since a scenario such as this one is extremely unlikely and in all likelihood that it does exist, it is in a world far from what us, normal and average people, do know of.
But it might, nonetheless.
And if it does, it would be indeed at the hands of people that we could not normally harm.

There are documentaries about this with real victims (one I saw was a man by the time I watched it) that happened in britain. He was around 6 years old and would always be passed around and all he knew was that all the places he went were luxurious. Thus the presumption that his "owners" or as he would call them, I would call them pedophiles/trash/scum but that's not up to me, were powerful people.
Or at least with money,

So, far from being something "to appeal to pedophiles" I believe the author, on his own clumsy way, is trying to say something.
Perhaps that we shouldn't trust people with money, or our own government even if it is a first world country, or it is just his/her way of expressing his/her feelings over what has happened.
Or, it is, indeed, something of his/her imagination.

The author is obviously not the best, but trying to say something nonetheless. I believe if this was for the panties shot, he would have gone for simpler plot.
Now, if you want to call someone a pedophile, call those authors who sexualize children but people are fine with it because the manga is funny.
And since aliases are common in Japan in this mangaka world, I would not cut out the option of the author being a woman. Though the drawings suggests a man, this type of plot is not usually drawn out of pleasure, so...
My assumption is, someone abused. Men don't come forth, but some women also don't.
So, who knows?

Note: in terms of research it had been shown that possitive perceptions of behaviours encourage them while negative ones discourage them. The research that I know of was done in regards to things such as smoking but perhaps this may also apply here?

If that was so, then RPG, MMORG, and various other types of games would induce violent acts in real life; The same would go for yaoi, yuri and shounen.
Being gay is you being gay, not a "decision" you make. You were born that way; There is no "cure" like people used to search for. (don't take me the wrong way, just using this as an example). Reading yaoi and/or yuri doesn't and won't turn me gay.
For I was born hetero.
But with the wrong surroundings, mostly if your parents are homophobics (Which I honestly find it a wrong word to start with, since phobia is being afraid/scared to death of something. You are not scared to death towards gay people, you are just a person filled with prejudice in your heart) you may turn out an homophobic. If your parents hates white people, you will come to hate white people; The same goes to other things as well.
The same way shounen won't turn me into a violent person, nor seinen will turn me into a psychopath. Some people may find pleasure in seeing gory scenes and that's disturbing, but that also doesn't mean they will act up on it. Unless if the person themselves already has it inside of them.
I believe it would make more sense if the person itself already had/and or has a psychological disorder where such a thing such as this manga would act as an influence.
Like people who murder in name of god. Or people who were raised that way.

It is true but it's far more complicated than that. It's not a cause and effect relationship but rather a correlation.

It could be used to say that having stories which show gay relationship would make people more accepting of gay people if it presents gay people in a positive light. However it can't be used to say that it will make them gay.

Being gay is not a choice however choosing to act out on that is a choice. I'm not promoting absitence although the Catholic church did and does.

I am always very careful with the words I use when I try to make a point. You have severely misunderstood the point i was making. in reality both my and your opinion are basically the same and you just further expanded on my point. Idk, maybe I should have made it more clear? Tbh, I thought that "encourage" and "discourage" would get the point across without misunderstandings. But at the same time my perception of this might be a bit different since I'm used to using such words and in the context I use them it usually gets the message across without misunderstandings.

In terms of smoking, it did not make people smoke but it did increase the likelihood of people smoking in general. Of course there are individualistic difference which is where the "mental disorder/issue" would apply. Overall with data we make a generalised statement because data must apply to the whole population otherwise it will lack polulational validity but it does not apply to everyone equally and of course it will have a minimal impact on people without that type of an issue while it can have a great impact on someone who does have such an issue. There are also many other factors which is also where the mental issue thing would fall (im saying mental issues, not in regards to smoking but rather to pedophilia.)

With smoking and addictions we could use genetics as an example as some genes have been shown to increase or decrease the likelihood of someone becoming addicted.

I said mental disorder at the beginning but I should have said "risk factor" oof. That can actually cause a misunderstanding. A mental disorder will not make someone more likely to smoke in most instances although at the same time people with certain mental disorders are more likely to smoke. It gets complicated and I'm not gonna open that can of worms here since it's uncalled for.

Honestly, you should consider studying psychology. It will make you jump around in circles sometimes but youre good at interpretation and that's a useful skill to have in that subject plus it's gonna be oddly interesting.

I believe you did express yourself well. However, I hardly do understand it when said in English and the person who wrote it puts a positive followed by a negative. Or vice versa. Just one of those "silly things" we can't wrap our heads around for the life of us.

It is sad, however, how many of these said disorders goes unnoticed or even noticed, but the people surrounding said individual refuses to believe in them. As if they are still in another century or so.

I believe that nowadays many manga, movies, tv shows and such end up presenting pedophilia as a "normal" thing. In a "positive" light. Take a light heart Isekai, they do have ecchi scenes with a girl who they say is NOT underage but has the body of an 8 years old. But I guess the "most accepted" sort of pedophilia is when it is a woman with a boy.
I find it disturbing, but many women gets unscathed after committing such horrendous crime; Whilst the boy and/or teenager if he shows any type of fear and/or resentment, will be seen as a "wuss".
Society puts such a heavy weight on men since they were children (at least in my home country) that I believe those who were abused by an adult never spoke out because they can't be a wuss; Gay; "a disgrace".
And I find it very sad.
All say they fight for equality, but never look at those who suffer under the shadows.

If genetics is involved, then it wouldn't be just to being addicted to smoking, but drugs in general or even "drugs that ease the pain", such as painkillers, no? Sorry if that's what you have left implied (not good with hints)
What you said before does make sense if we look at when tobacco was used for medical purposes and people up and down used to smoke. It was seen as a positive thing to do. As years got on, people who do realize its risks and prefer to have a longer life, do stop it.
But those who live by the motto "I might die tomorrow of an accident anyway" will just keep on smoking/and or doing drugs.
Mental issues are a rather tricky topic; Even nowadays, sadly, they are not that much considered something "important".
Addiction is another tricky question, in my opinion.
For example,
One would say I am addicted to my medication because I do a fuss if I don't have it. Because am I not only in pain without it, but in risk as well.
However so, I can not act as a normal, functional adult without it. (I can't walk nor think properly. My brain doesn't send those signal things, thus I literally don't work as a human in general)
Personally speaking, I do not see myself as an addict; But others do so. Some doctors do, some doctors don't.
I do not feel that "I need the medication", it is merely and purely a fact that "I must have my medication" and that's where the difference lies; The need of a person whose feelings are taking over, and the must have of a person whose life depends on it. I would want to say that such things are best left to the judgement of a doctor and/or another professional, but when they clash against each other the thing gets even more complicated. In the end, is it a need or necessity? Is it desire or a must have?
I guess here would also fall those addicted to heavy drugs. If you want to get better, one would try doing less-heavy drugs to not get the "hangover" they would if they had cut it completely. And slowly but still, using the lesser and lesser amount until they can completely stop it.
I find it rather courageous of those who can do it, to be able to do so. For they are abandoning the once world they chose to embrace.
I believe humans in general have much to advance in this area.

You are right, and I agree with you. But such a thing as depression does leave one as "an easy prey" for such things, no? Feel free to open the can of worms if you want to. I, at least, will enjoy reading. To escape the pain; to run away; To get along with these people who finally understands me. To be loved.
