I think you can see when each of them fell for each other, and see their relationship progress a decent amount. The ending was happy, if a smidge rushed. I like that Wulfric wasn't just another pushy, overbearing lover like we see so often now, same with the other relationships portrayed in this story. Overall, the story is well done in terms of how short stories usually turn out. It's a good read!
Personally, I hope that River beats the shit out of Khaol and strips him of his godhood. He deserves that and so much worse. Same with Lari and her little clique. On the other hand, from what was said in the last panel, I'm thinking the river god and river himself swapped places at the last second.
What did I even read? When did she find out his name? Wtf? Such a short, empty and dull story.

What the hell was that ending? Literally made the story crap.
