My thoughts on the MC and the ml. I get liking what you like when it comes to what you find attractive, but I feel so bad for the ml because all the MC does and even in front of him is talk about muscles. Like how is the ml supposed to feel secure in the relationship if all you do is fawning over muscles or knights. Not only that but because she doesn't state enough this poor dude is constantly feeling insecure and will eventually realize he can never stop in training because he will lose his muscles one of the main things she likes about him. Which means even as he ages and his body naturally starts to break down he still has to keep those muscles just so she will fawn over him. Like I said I get having your likes and dislikes but fuck if I was the ml, I'm sorry but I ain't spending the rest of my life worrying if your gonna leave me because I no longer have the body you love so much. A healthy relationship is one where even as you age, you know your partner still loves you no matter what your body changes into. Or what you become. As for the ml, I think he really needs to be more assertive when it comes to telling her how he feels when it comes to how he doesn't like it when she talks about other males muscles and that it does make him feel insecure, because eventually if they don't speak on this subject it's only going to get worse for them later on.
For those who are new to this manga, she does end up leaving her husband. So if y'all get angry, just know she does leave him eventually.
Ok re reading this again, I've come to the conclusion that several 100 years have passed but Marianne the founder of the kingdom might have used some type of magic to keep herself alive and young. This is only a theory though. I also have the theory that in order to stay young and alive the curse that's passed down through generations is nothing more than a spell that sucks the life and power out of the person and transfers it to the person who casted it. I say this only because the scene where the king is shown at the banquet hall to welcome the new great saintess looks like a shell of a man. Whose life looks it's slowly being drained from him. Also the dark skinned noble (can't remember his name) if you look at the flashbacks looks like he was a mercenary or just some village person. I think she ended up making a deal with him or placed him under a curse as well, and then bumping him up to nobility. So that way she always has someone on her side.
The art style makes everyone look like toads to me.....
