I wouldn't day it's necessary,you can definitely read this without knowing everything from Night of the Unmarked however if you want to know context on the brother and his lovers story and about MCs teenage years I reccomend! Although the story isn't focused on him he plays a large side character role

I’m currently reading the novel for this story, but I wanted to check out the manhwa to see the character designs and art style. Usually, I’m not a fan of manhwa adaptations when I've already read the novel because they rarely capture that specific vibe.
However, just by looking at the art, I can tell the artist did an incredible job. The aura of the characters and the uncensored scenes are exactly how I imagined them. Diamond Dust has a very descriptive and high quality novel, even the smut scenes are slow-paced and well-written with actual literary merit. I thought it would be really hard for an adaptation to capture that, but this looks like it’s definitely worth a read.

You can search for BornToBeNovel on Google!! But I think it is important to pay attention to the story and characters because the translation isn't the best. For example since there are no gender-specific pronouns in Korean, things like pronouns or specific perspectives in scenes can create confusion so it can be hard to translate.
Actually if you search on TikTok, you can find other translations too. There is one girl who is a fan of Diamond Dust and is doing the translation herself. I think her translation was higher quality in a literary sense and she was much more familiar with the Omegaverse jargon. But when I was reading her translation, the scenes weren't connecting to each other. I think it was around 13-14. chapters. So, I looked it up on other sites and saw there were 4-5 whole pages that were not translated and I got scared to continue from her translate since I could miss some scenes, but it can be a simple mistake too I don't know. That’s why I came back to this site I'm recommending. Maybe you can find an even better one

Thanks for reaching out. Actually I did find the novel on Google in eng translation, idk if it is from the girl or someone else, but it seems pretty good so far. And yes, I noticed the same thing about ambiguous gender and pronouns so I'm going slow to avoid confusion
