around chapter 230 it’s confirmed that selina (the pink professor) has feelings for him and they go on a date but mc just thinks of it as a friendly outing lmao. it’s also implied at one point that flora has feelings for him but nothing major happens.
i think if there is romance in endgame (which is looking to be unlikely) it would probably be casey. their dynamic is unique and around chapter 476 he becomes her fake fiance to help her out because of pressure from her family. although her sister ends up falling in love with him so like ??? there’s conflict i guess??? the spoiler was pretty vague but i don’t think anything really comes from it

tbh i knew her tara would be the ml but like i was kinda hoping that her tara would be eciel in a platonic/familial unconditional way rather than have her tara be the ml in a romantic sense. even though her parents had a tara relationship in a romantic way, it was never specified that the love for a tara had to be romantic. and obv in this scenario the ml would still be important in the story but it would’ve been really nice to see claire truly understand unconditional love through eciel since she’s been so important to her
Especially since a Tara is supposed to be the thing that makes them human and teaches them what human emotions are like. It would make so much sense considering eciel was the one who already did that for Claire, the mom's love helped but it was eciel who pulled her out. They also mentioned Claire feels different than other astrols because she already has emotions and the reveal that this is because her Tara has been with her since birth would be so nice.
