This was sosososo good! Unfortunately I read the tags so I was able to figure out the twist right away =( so if you're reading this, don't look at the tags! It's more fun going into it blind. That being said, I loved both of the characters so much, especially Jihun! He's so cute! I'm really happy I actually read this, since normally I don't read things that are this short. But, this story wrapped up nicely.
Thank gods there's an official version! I didn't notice and started reading the fan version, but immediately stopped after "there's neither clock nor window, therefore I don't know that it's day or night." To all the fan translators out there - if you're using machine translation, you don’t have to put it in word for word! You're allowed to change the sentence so it flows better and sounds more natural. I don't understand why people go through the trouble to translate something, only to make it sound like complete garbage. Even if you're not a writer, if you read the occasional book you should have a basic understanding of what sounds natural and what doesn't.
Really? He didn’t think about dating, but he was okay letting Hyuntai bang him? And in previous chapters he kept thinking about how much he cares for Hyuntai, and how he was jealous when someone else guided him. But even with all that he’s acting weirdly cold and is acting like dating never once crossed his mind. Isn’t that weird? Or is there like a cultural difference here that I’m not aware of?
Really? You "can't believe humans would use that kind of destructive power on eachother?" You really can't believe it? The same species that dropped nuclear bombs, enslaves generations of innocent family members when one commits the crime of trying to leave the country, performed horrific experiments on unwilling innocents (the nazis, mk ultra, unit 731, and countless others)... there is no end to the limit of human cruelty. But maybe this is an idealized world where none of that stuff happened. Or maybe humans have banded together when faced with a different threat, but I just don't see that. I'm only on chapter 27, so maybe more gets explained about the world later on. As of now, these dungeons don't seem like that big of a threat. For real, what a ridiculous statement to make.
This would've been 5 stars for me if the translation wasn't so egregiously bad. I don't get how an official translation could be so terrible.
It's funny, I was thinking in my head "I'm surprised he hasn't tried to murder the unborn baby," and literally the next line as soon as I scrolled down was basically him going "one abortion please."
So did they fuck or what? I'm so confused because they didn't show anything. It was the same a few chapters back when it looked like maybe they were going to do something, but then it just cut to the next scene.
Are these official or fan translated? Cause unfortunately it seems like the translations are getting worse each chapter. And it really sucks because I'm loving the story and the artwork, but all these annoying errors really take me out of it.
