should i apologize to my friend for not talking to them for a bit because i'm hurt that they suddenly muted me as a joke??? i got pissed off but i'm okay now. i'm now thinking if i should apologize before sleeping or not.
Imo you dont have to actually say sorry. Just casually start a conversation. If they bring it up then explain, if not just talk like nothing happened.

did they unmute you now? if they did maybe you should apologize to them. They also probably got hurt when you ignored them for a bit and also explain why you did that. If you're still blocked by them, well maybe you should wait until they talked to you first. Because if it were me, I would change my friends if they didn't even let me explain my reason.

did you tell them the reason you were not talking to them before you stopped talking to them? personally I hate it when someone gives me the silent treatment without telling me the reason so if they don't know the reason then maybe say something along the lines of 'I should've told you why I wasn't talking to you but you hurt me......etc' and talk about it. other than that you're peachy
