Yes! I love Gorgeous Carat! (Except for the fact that it's a shounen-ai through and through, and it's not finished D:)
It reminds me of my job, too. And real companies. And finding your place in them. And learning to shine. And overcoming odds; like NOT having an ivy-league MBA but being someone who actually helps customers instead. This is a GREAT story, if you can work with the translation being a little choppy. And it has hope for those of us who think we have much to offer HOT rich guys, too!
Mystery, intrigue, revenge, power, sex, manipulation, and a plot thicker than ice. Yes, it's not strictly historically accurate, but then history itself is rarely very accurate, either. I hope the scanlators can continue their great work--thanks, y'all!

Just for Yubisaki, I can stretch my imagination and accept Maizuru looking old, because he has a trauma and I don't think he copes well even though he tried to cover his stress. Plus genes and bad living habits on top of that.
For Hajime, I have less idea. Maybe because he smokes a lot? It is not healthy.
But yeah, Bohra-sensei's drawing pushes Jijicon to over the age limit
I do really love the image of the fireflies in the field though. You can really feel the magic.
when i first read sensei's work, I thought the same and thought it weird with the old looking ppl but realized that the stories are great and I just got use to how the characters were drawn
I read her work for the first time. Yeah.. I'm not used at this old-looking style BUT I think the story is nice and character are funny, in the end I just almost forgot that fact. (▰˘◡˘▰)

Exactly. I've read a lot of Naono-sensei's works, and he does have a thing for mature men. Moreover, she even stated that Maizuru was supposed to be around his late 30's, but she had to make him 32 because it's her editor's wish.
She only changed his age but not his look. Lol
I would never have imagined such different stories together... They weren't like this in publication, were they? It's a bit disorienting.
