For me being an aro-ace means, that I have to be careful getting close to people because actions influence emotions. Simply being a kind person can make others attract to you, so it isn't intentional to seduce others or attract them- THEY THEMSELVES LET THEIRSELVES BECOME ATTRACTED.
Which why a lot of the time I hand-pick individuals to be in my life that I know won't be hurt by my existence and disturb my peace...specifically ones that aren't attracted to my sex, ones who are much older than me and are responsible, people with disabilities or people who resemble family relations or people who have no confidence. It's simply easier to exist when logic satisfies all parties rather than emotional positions.
Now MC is probably has a different circumstance than me he has a delayed emotional response that he needs to reflect on in order to move forward with emotional scenarios once he realizes or experiences his wrong-doings he'll probably reflect on his emotional state better but for now he might seem evil because others don't realize that he has disability that not even HE has addressed yet. Still it sucks that I understand where he's coming from and don't really see him as a bad person because realistically he's not wrong for doing things he wants.
He doesn't realize that he has a delayed emotional response.....so if he goes through with his stupid little " it won't affect me anyway~" bs, he'll be too late to realize that he DOES if fact like this guy and when they are no longer together? Is for her to be freed from him or free herself from the shackles of life. Once you're in the state she's in no "worldly" opinion could realistically influence her. She's now in the state of limbo which means she sees no difference between life or death and everything that she hopes for will be considered meaningless unless she gives her hopes and actual value.
