Idk why people are hating, but in my opinion this manhwa is very well written. I’ve read the manhwa ever since it first released and still can’t prepare myself for the final chapter. The character depth, storyline, twists, it’s like a roller coaster. I get that people hate Jaekyung still, but I think he’s gonna be on his best behavior from now on, now that he’s got Dan on his side ^~^

Abused fl turns into abuser as a defense mechanism. She's secretly in love with the finacee of her half-sister, who is part of the cycle of abuse she is trying to escape from (the half-sister). Whether fl and ml have feelings for each other or not is currently unknown cause she acts like a villainess and he's emotionally distant. Other cast members include emotionally neglectful parents, psychotic half-brother, and various other palace staff, some of whom are actually helpful.

I've read all the available free chapters. Which is up to chapter 69, I don't know if all the people saying she's dead have read much farther or if there's just a misunderstanding.
From the point I'm at she's not dead, but she does get injured badly.
There IS hope, but so far, we're really just at a "wait and see" stage. Without too many spoilers, she's about to change her environment and hopefully things start to look up from there.

idk why people in the comment section are hating but who are we to judge how a storyline’s good or bad? we’re here to follow the story, not judge it. this story is actually very realistic. this is not a straight story and you cant demand the storyline to go like one. men has ego, they talk with their heads before their heart. and people talking about sangwoo having absolute no character development, you’re wrong. he has both character DEPTH and character development which is perfect. also the cuddles in this manhwa made it feel very comforting to read :3
