I thought so too I thought the art changed because izumi looked thinner and the kids don’t look as pudgy and cute....... they looked older and I didn’t like it when he shaved his goatee and cut his hair I liked his manly looks. But it seems like the art changed back to the original style mid volume

I understand why he chose no reward now, bc in choosing no reward he is the only person there who is to be 100% cleared. He stated in the very beginning that he was choosing nothing when no one knew of the rewards and the outcome reflexed what he said, they all have to trust that he is the only person who is innocent.
I also do see that if the paladin was the traitor it would make most sense bc she is the sole factor that they’re depending on to tell who is telling the truth and who is lying. The favor would be strongly swayed towards her to be the traitor due to her ability and pin everyone else on each other but, that will directly contradict her entire personality which is hard to believe, but also an amazing plot point and twist in personality. The person who seems most suspicious due to character behavior alone though would be the priest but i also think it’s too predictable for it to be him, i honestly think he’s going to be a good person but still just fucked up.
Theres a third senecio that i believe could be possible and it’s that there’s no traitor and the tower is pitting all the best fighters against each other to eliminate a few of them. As i remember from the earlier chapters (from not re-reading anything so i might be remembering wrong) but, the old grandpa dude just disappeared one day didn’t he? It’s also possible that he is the traitor and they killed him in the tower. These are just a few theories i have, obviously anything is possible but here’s my thoughts :)

yeah i like ur theories a lot. especially the last one you mentioned where the grandpa could be a traitor considering he did disappear for some unknown reason. it would be weird however, considering his character. i dont think he’s the type to resort to something like that. i think the most plausible theories rn is that the demon king is playing them and he is just putting them against each other and somehow kim gong ja could have realized that so he chose the option that would make him completely innocent. or it could be the lie detector person since the odds would be incredibly in their favor.
