Yea they are purple, which doesn’t match either Cayden nor Eli whose eyes are grey. There goes my theory ╮(￣▽￣)╭

They are not children of Eli and Edna it was said in the last chapter of light and shadow (correct me if I'm wrong) that they had 3 kids, two of whom were boys as the youngest was a girl. Going by Alex's age in one of the panels in the chapter, he looks about 4-6 years old while the youngest looks about 0-1 yrs old. At present, I'd say Alex is 18-20 years old so she would be 13-15 yrs old. The nieces, on the other hand, look about Alex's age.

No those are the girl of her karina brother. Also when both of them showed up it’s say they are princess and they also candied for Alex to marry

Also, like someone said adna and Eli have 3 kids. 2 boys and a girl. Alex, his brother Kai and his sister Alissa.
This is Trilogy, the first book is on adna and Eli, second is on their son Alex and the last book is on their daughter Alissa. also from what I read the ml in the last one is kian son.
And that’s all. I hope that the last book will get picked up too.

You might be confused. Although they might actually be nieces of the queen on her side of the family, idk seeing as I haven’t read this in awhile. But calling someone “auntie” also doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re actually your aunt. I’ve had to call my parent’s friends aunt and uncle before.

And I’ve seen other stories where a kid calls their friend’s mother “auntie” to make it less formal. Ngl I do feel like calling someone else’s parent by their name awkward for me

Yes I liked it. It isn't top notch animation like this masterpiece deserves but it is still nice. If I remember correctly it adapts the first 2 volumes.

I was thinking the same thing but then I saw Kairi’s back and it seems he doesn’t have the burn scars, also it’s be weird if he knew that was his sister and was doing it with her (but maybe he developed a psychological disorder where he took on someone else’s identity)

I mean that would have been a heck of a plot twist and a great one at that but i doubt it... I mean they both look different and Kairi doesn’t has scars and also we saw Kairi’s background story so like it’s nothing like that. I think when he means “ how long has it been since we’ve been able to sleep as soundly as this” i think what he meant was like after all they both have been through a lot and yk they once just slept together in the bed or something in the beginning of the manga and i think Kairi mentions that time as relieving because they both slept soundly for the first time together back then and this as the second time after so many shit happening between those two. I Don’t think the plot would go even more twisted and for some reason i think we are getting closer to the end a bit. Like im sure Kairi is going to be known as the murderer... sadly even tho i dont want that ik in fact that something big is about to go down and well ye let’s just hope for good and happy stuff...

That’s not possible though. There are visible differences between the child brother that she remembers and the one she likes. Plus, obviously they mean that their anxiety has been relieved. That’s why they can sleep soundly
