I kind of wanted to see Neril fight. It would have been interesting for that boar to be humbled by a woman, but this is okay too.
Now, I'm curious. It seems like she is Pephmia. If she is Pephmia, why doesn't she remember, and why is she in the position she is now?
I am not a fan of the ML right now (I'm assuming he is the ML). I have never fond of the "no woman has treated me this way type. What else will she do?" It is more than just that but I'll leave it there.
Even if the power shows the truth, the truth she sees are incomplete and missing context. Treating a partial truth as if it is the whole thing is very unwise of her.
Whether his feelings go away or stay the same does not matter. A curse is curse. Eat the damn apple!
I'm confused. What does she think Cal is? Why would he need a place to stay? I'm getting impatient.
I feel some of these comments are too harsh on the MC and the writing (at least for now). I think her behavior is very much in line with someone who has suffered lifelong abuse, trauma, and, as far as we know, betrayal. In her mind, people are not to be trusted. Any benevolence is either an act or can be taken away. Anyone can turn on you at any moment no matter how long you've 'known' them. Once you are seen as useless you will be beaten or thrown away. She's spent most of her reincarnation pretty much with only Molly (and she still views her as someone that can be taken from or abandon her at anytime). Now, she being confronted with more uncertainty than she has had to deal with in the last 3 years, re-triggering her bad memories. Her need for constant reinforcement that she is finally with safe people is realistic to me.
The adults were dead wrong for hiding the sister's existences from each other . Even if the parents couldn't be together, they would have at least had a chance on having each other. Once again children suffer due to their parent's bad decisions.

The thread does not specify how the culprit framed Bianca beyond her "reputation" and the lady dying the same day she visited. This annoys me down to my bones. Hopefully this isn't the actual case because if it is, my annoyance with Maria only grows. I would have hoped she'd be smart enough to know better, but this is ultimately the authors fault.
I get his concern, but he speaks of her as if she is not capable of self advocacy/agency at all. He clearly does not completely understand the reality of her life as princess, and he has an innocent, naive, and idealized version of her in his head. Which is annoying because the life she lived would not allow her to be those things.
Maria better have a good reason to treat Bianca this way like brainwashing or really good forged evidence. Other than that, once Bianca is cleared, sorry or not, I really don't want to see her face.
Yes, Maria. Why would the woman that appears to have everything she could ever want resort to killing your mother to send message rather than deal with you the way she allegedly deals with other people that "get in her way"?
Something is not adding up to me. The prologue seems to suggest one story while this chapter suggest another on who was originally approaching MC while he was on the ground.
Was it a stranger? Was it his dad? Or was his dad killed by a stranger and the stranger killed by Guwon, but because the MC has a TBI he is mixing up the events?
While I understand wanting to avoid spoiling the story, I think there should be more warning tags other than just "intense." It is too vague. While the description made it clear the story wouldn't be all sunshine and rainbows, feel they could have done better at giving the audience an idea of what to suspect.
I'm really getting monster of Frankenstein- Born a grown man with no one to teach him right from wrong, therefore having to "learn" from his immediate environment vibes from Guwon.
If I'm right, there is hope. If I'm wrong...
A piece of me wants to feel bad for her, but when you child is sociopath in pre-counseling/psychology world, what other options do you have other than dropping her off at a monastery?
Wait, so is the purple haired mage a lord or a lady?
