you know when the manhwa/manhua is written by a guy, that it’s gonna be so good . Here U Are was written by a guy and it’s literally in my top 5. I LOOK FORWARD FOR SEASON 2, STAY HEALTHY!! (⌒▽⌒)

I'm a woman and I have to say... sometimes when it comes to BL stories female writers can end up fetishizing it a lot. That doesn't mean we don't have awesome stories written by them, but it's different when you experience it IRL (as a man) I guess

I just dont get this vitriol against women creating something. Irl gay porn directed and acted by men have the worse or even same *tropes* whats written by women and we dont see the same hate BL writers do. I think every genre will always have shitty stuff when thousands of people are making it. But saying it be done by women only is inherently misogynistic in my opinion.

It's not misogyny it's wanting a story about gay men for gay men written by a gay man. Just like It's not misandry to want a lesbian story written for lesbians by a lesbian and hating one that's written by a man.
that's it. and we have examples in movies of the difference between female directors portraying lesbian couples x male directors doing it.
It's different when we know personally the gender struggles...
but of course as humans we can relate to feelings in the same way (happiness, love, anxiety, fear) and that's why there are many good stories written by women too
