WE’RE BACK BABY! I always knew Deon was gonna get what was comin’ to him but if he gets taken out by LANT of all people I will be severely disappointed. I was hoping for a showdown between him and Cass. Hoping he’ll be able to crawl away from this and fight another day.
Also, after re-reading this I have some things to point out. What’s up with the OG red haired ML’s weird attitude towards Roxanna? He acts like she did him dirty somehow and as far as I know they’ve had almost no interaction over the years except at the big house assembly thing and even then i think they’ve talked briefly like twice, so idk what his deal is. (I know they mention he has a hatred for women in general but he seems have a particular dislike for her specifically)
Also there’s a part where Lant talks about a deal he made with that one House Head that has the puppeteer power, which if I recall correctly, is that childish little sh*t who fell head over heals for Xana at first sight at the assembly party. Roxanna was dismissive of the deal since this was mid-coupe but what if that deal included selling off Roxanna in a marriage deal in exchange for whatever Lant wanted in return? Just something to consider I guess.
Okaaaayyy, so blondie is WAAAAAAYYY crazier than I initially gave him credit for and that’s saying something cuz we been knew that man is a text book yandare. But I thought that their shared past was at least going to be a bit more substantial than it was.
I was assuming blondie was Sori’s co-worker back in the day and it might have been blondie’s first gig or something and Sori just didn’t remember him because he was so focused on the ass-hat who ended up being the source of his kink/trauma. Turns out Blondie’s just a hot sasaeng who happens to be Sori’s type.
