iloveyogurt October 11, 2019 6:03 pm

Ryosuke thinks he is dull and forgettable but oh boy what's best of him lies within his nature, someone like that is extremely hard to find nowadays, no wonder Yuzuru fell for him (▰˘◡˘▰)

iloveyogurt October 10, 2019 5:19 pm

It's all fun and games but I will be devastated if she doesn't find her true love at the end lol

Aww please don't cry ╥﹏╥ that one line "you didn't lose everything" is actually so inspirational and relatable...

Just ignore the people calling out rape shit really, they won't ever stop no matter what moral speeches we give them lol

    iloveyogurt September 28, 2019 7:38 am

I mean, if you want to detest that badly then at least consider the time period and background of the story (Someone commented down below)

    iloveyogurt September 28, 2019 7:41 am

    Disappointed?
    Okay byeeee

    MangaSanctuary September 28, 2019 8:15 am

There's worse rape out there (in other yaois, I mean...), and no one really bats an eye.
    - Viewfinder, first sex scene was bdsm btw). I just like the episode of Asami with Fei.

    - Killing Stalking. Perverted Uke-kun's thrown himself to be violated by Serial killer bloody Seme, despite being starved-skinny and broken legs... Here again, no one's complaining, still today... 9,6 or 7...? rating.
    Dropped.

    - Hogu hagionshu (Uke-Chan being thrown to a bunch of jerks by motherfucker Seme for ganbgang... raped and raped again by who knows-I don't even know anymore...).
    Dropped.

    - Moebius Trip : Seme-Kun was bullied for years, physically and mentally, by SM Uke and his jerky bully friends. Then once met again, Uke-Chan raped Seme-trauma kun. But no one's cares.
    Dropped.

    - etc, etc... not forgetting all these Omegaverses 99,9 where the concept evolve around rape, but this is actually a growing genre (?).

Drunkard lil bunny Nakiute embrace Seungho himself thinking he's embracing his ass-Hun of teach, and everybody looses their mind, because the horny Lord took him on his invitation.
    "Rape, rape, rape...!!"

You're a bunch of blind idiots for whose you still vomit on Seungho and POTN for rape, where did you got your eyes when reading all the Yaoi mentioned before?
Those are where you should protest, not here.

Lmao yeah you really pointed out the hypocrisy of these readers. But I honestly think these are views which are not necessarily their own. In the wake of recent events irl with revelations of women being drugged then raped, somehow they wanna apply that same sense of justice to these dubcon scenes that appear in these works.

In a case like this where Nakyum thinks he’s making love to Inhun, what Yoon did isn’t rape so much as it is taking advantage of Nakyum’s inebriated state. He’s indulging Nakyum’s fantasies. He doesn’t force himself on Nakyum and becomes quite gentle after Nakyum tells him he’s a virgin.

And I feel readers have forgotten that sex is also used as a storytelling device...it ain’t just there for smut’s sake. So in some cases, it won’t happen the lovey-dovey way they want it. This isn’t just about Yoon taking advantage, this’ll now serve as a pivotal plot point further in the story. But readers just wanna go off with that faux sense of justice I guess.

    Thanks.
Yeah, drunk/drogued girls/victims getting raped nowadays constitutes a real problem, and we shouldn't ignore this. Every girl should learn from early age how to get safe from these situations and dangers, they really should. It's understantable that's a sensitive subject for everybody.
Maybe those who are really bothered by this are even more because of the realism and quality of this work. They have the right to complain.
Though calling repetitly rape, rape such well thought plot... Besides annihilating their own intentions. What's insuportable is when some speak like if this story was nothing but rapey and the characters nothing but tools for sadistic rape fetish. No, that's not possible to be so rude.
There's also that assumption telling the fans they're watching this for the rape, with that speech of rape culture spreading because of that, or that it may influence the young girls...
I think one can dislike a content, but speaking as if only they have a brain... Is also to treat others like dumb rats. I think people know at least what's fantasy or reality.

Though, whether rape or rape involve with alcohol/substances..., there's not only this Manhwa. We all read these yaoi where one or the both have drunk sex; rare are those bothered by it it seems. Where are the white knights in their hight horse...? Maybe because the drawing/plot was too rapey for them to even care? (Unrealistic...?).

Agree with the rest. Like you, I'm part of those who think this really isn't rape, but assault at best. Nakyum got himself drunk, not the Lord. He throws himself in the arms of the Lord, not the Lord initiating the sexstuff. If Seungho is culprit of assaulting him (and he is), then Nakyum is also for getting himself so drunk, painter's a grown man, not a kid anymore.
And yes... Seungho nowhere hurt him during the love affair, but rather, is gentle.
Calling the Lord rapist is a bit rapid and brutal.
The best thing for the Lord to do would've been to not taking the drunkard confessing boy on his offer, but gently refuse him, calling a servant and put NK in bed like the drunk he is.

But... Really...? We're speaking here about the horny Lord, known to be a sex beast and impulsive, so there was just no way he would let that offering slip, haha.

The last part you describe is interesting, and I'm agree. Now it has become more than a simple step in their relationship, but it becomes a pivotal point further in the story. The following events will (jus) be how their sudden intimacy will inffect all their relationships, and how they'll gonna solve it.

    iloveyogurt September 28, 2019 4:33 pm

Lol guys the people calling out the rape thing always says that are they not allowed to express their opinions every freaking single time we showed them a different opinion, no one has the upperhand here lol people needs to understand that there are different opinions in this society, not just their own, you expressed your opinions on a open website and you expect everyone to think the same? Wow genius

Yes, I agree that the reality of the problem is definitely serious and it’s understandable why some readers would grow sensitive to the presence of it in stories. Though in this case, the vitriol isn’t exactly necessary and blows things out of proportion. But readers pick and choose what they want to protest for/against. So there’s no helping that.

Lol Yoon definitely wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity, you’re right. I’m eager to see how all this plays out.

Yeah, the comment section is made for everyone to express their opinion. I'm the first to stand for that, because there will still be stories, yaois, that we hate or things we dislike in a manga that we'd like to express. This is a right that shouldn't never be shunned for.
Though when the reproachs become repetitive, added with the ruthless tone that goes along, over and over, it rends the comment section really poisonous/toxic.
It monopolizes a lot of attention and can turn to tiresome battles...

There's a certain trending to each story, usually the people who come to read it and keep commenting on it are supposed to be the ones that like the work.
Sometimes, there are unpopular opinions that pop up, it's ok, everybody has their ditastes of things. But for someone that says they hate this and that, but keeps reading and keeps complaining is a bit weird. Generally, when we dislike so much a plot that we only have complains to say, then the best thing to do is to go read something else. How many have I dropped, yaois...? Many! That saves time for everyone. Time and nerves.
Nothing wrong to leave a lecture, or to say once "this isn't for me, because blablabla..." and the end. Though these people will keep reading, and whenever given the chance, will rage again... Tiring.
First, we had the "rape" complains, then the endless comparison with Killing Stalking, the re rape and assholery of Seungho, re rape... -_-

That's right. Drugs/alcohol as a mean to rape someone is a real problem, though speaking about it on manga sites may help to warn youngsters, but it isn't the best place either.
Maybe sometimes just say "Beware not to drink too much in parties, my friends..." or "Don't drink drinks given to you by unknown persons..." will help a hundred times better than endless cheat-chat battles on Mangago/MRM?

Yes, all this takes a lot of proportions. By calling every not (really) consent sex "rape" so easely, without analysing it from all angles, is also not good. It makes rape sounds cheap, and in the end, it becomes just a word over-used in the Manga/yaoi genre. Rape should only be used when it's really rape, this is not a joke thing.

    Sora~~(=^ェ^=) September 29, 2019 5:00 pm

I kinda like it, it seems to be a different take on revenge and after life scenarios. There's a bunch of revenge stories with the same plot so this is sort of refreshing to me.

Yeah I get that but the part where I am supposed to smile just don't really make it for me tho...

iloveyogurt September 27, 2019 4:47 pm

Ok so I’m sure everyone already knows this is not consensual sex or whatever but please don’t take it seriously, you guys don’t need to highlight ALL of this is rape rape and rape, it’s common for yaois and rape is not good, sure but as long as we take this as entertainment means then it’s fine imo.

    iloveyogurt September 27, 2019 4:50 pm

Don’t need to take it seriously tho, i’m sure people on this website (especially the yaoi genre) only takes it as something funny and entertaining like a dose of internet, for people who are new to this world keke ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

    iloveyogurt September 27, 2019 4:55 pm

Btw, there are tons of things to comment on besides “rape” so why not

    iloveyogurt September 27, 2019 5:07 pm

Oh, and for those hardcore “you need to seek for help if you try to defend rape in yaois” critics, not like you can do anything about it tho, people reading these stories aren’t kids at all, and what if it’s rape? I don’t really see the point of criticising some stories as a whole because it contains some fiction not-consensual sex in it, people have to hate it in every aspects or so? So for example I liked the artstyle of the sex scene and the sex scene wasn’t consensual then I am some psychopath when I didn’t even say it’s right or wrong? Lol people with that kind of mindset really interpret people anywhere and anytime as they like.

    iloveyogurt September 27, 2019 5:12 pm

If you can’t take it then just leave, we don’t really shut you guys off on here but we do when it’s convenient (⌒▽⌒) happy and peaceful ok

    kkokkopi September 27, 2019 5:50 pm

Lol exactly. People can just go ahead criticize and tell the authors to shut these kinds of stories or they can just not read yaoi at all. Some who still read this kind of shit are not dumb to know it' rape. It's getting annoying to see these comments every damn chapter.
