Surprisingly, this was never used to justify his actions. The abused was quickly address here. Grayson's mental condition is the one that makes his actions complicated because he never intent to cause harm people but it was always the result of his help. Ashley never tolerates him. He was supervised than his other siblings who share the same phenotype like him. While the other story brought up sad back story for the main characters, for Grayson it was just an explanation for his condition.

It was never about childhood or abuse lol.

give greyson a chance, he's actually mentally incapable and had to be supervised because his mental capacity/logic differs from his siblings. Compared to his father (Ashley — if u read Lick Me If You Can), Ash is quiet similar to greyson after the incident (pheromone shock which affected his brain) , but Greyson is much more a complicated case. Nevertheless, it doesnt excuse him from what he did but it did gives us a reason on why he did it (you'll know after several chapters)

Grayson is more like Dominic both physically and mentally. That’s why Ashley made him grow his hair since he resembles Dominic so much but his actual true character like believing in love and twitching his ear when happy is like Koi

Grayson is not a red flag. if you read the novel you would know that he did what his father or even Dominic could never do. And Grayson strongly believes in consent.

Noooooo, he's just a little baby looking for love and doesn't understand what he did was wrong because of trauma (still pushing your brother in front of a bus is crazy!!!).
But no worries about revenge, Josh will team up with Dane after promising Chase to him, haha
