Honestly, I hate all the characters except Edna. Damn, even her grandmother makes me angry, constantly trying to push Edna to accept things and get back with Bjorn, but seriously??? SHE SUFFERED AND STILL SUFFERS A LOT BECAUSE OF HIM!! Everyone in this story was complacent with Edna, and in part, everyone is to blame for the crap she went through. I'm really rooting against the main couple; what everyone should do is leave that poor woman alone.
EXACTLY! Why the hell is her own grandmother doing this?? I know it’s for the sake of the story but I would NEVER choose a random ass man over the feelings of my granddaughter. For goodness sake erna lost her BABY. He felt loss sure but who tells someone to smile after that. He’s so bad. Erna deserves someone communicative, earnest, and loyal.
She didn't choose him over her , the girl was depressed and didn't react or do anything before he came but when he came she started to be lively again and it's clear he does love her that is why the grandma helps

The grandma didn't all of this at beginning the ML was the one telling her to try and get the fl back , her granddaughter/fl said they just didn't mention anything it was almost forbidden, yes the grandma herself mentioned that the Fl was drowning and never reacted unless it was with the ml .... also let's be clear I'm defending the actions of the grandma no one else

As a grandmother, seeing that, wouldn’t you think not all reactions no matter how numb the granddaughter is, not good? It’s unhealthy and Erna came to heal but how can she heal if her own grandmother is giving her abuser a chance just because she “reacted”
She is not reacting just out of anger though i think it is more complicated that than that because all of what she went through, if he was just an abuser to her the minute she sees him she would have fallen more into her depression just like how she was with her father . Also that is the thingggg she was not healinggg no matter how much time passed she was not healing, what the fl actually needed the most for her and the ml to discuss everything that happened
