Honestly I’m pretty sure I don’t even want to watch the live version bc I’m too scared it’ll come out all goofy. I think part of the reason why it’s so fuckin cool reading it is bc there’s still stuff left to the imagination

very true, with epic scenes like this they have to go all out to make sure it lives up to the epic moment or it'll just be a wet noodle.
i’m pretty sure it’s going to be a kdrama and those are actually pretty good! personally, i don’t think it will turn out bad because kdramas are notoriously known for being amazing <3
I watch kdramas as well as Thai, Chinese, Taiwanese and Vietnamese dramas and I just have to say nothing is on such a large scale like this is without looking at least a little goofy and a bit hard to suspend disbelief. Not saying that I don’t hope it turns out amazing (I’m hoping to be proven incredibly wrong) but I’m just saying it’s better to not have high expectations
Then it's the more reason not to watch the live action. ORV surely isn't a drama type.
i hope you realize kdrama includes a wide range of genres…kdrama is just the term (it is the wide expected term for korean produced television shows) but it doesn’t necessarily have to be a traditional drama…
As someone who watches a variety of different Asian-produced media, I’m aware but also still dubious. Unless it’s animated, I doubt it’s able to capture such a grand scale of events. Again, really really hoping I’m proved wrong and look dumb bc a live action that does it justice would be awesome
Imo action scenes and CGI wise we still have some hopes since the live action will be directed by the director of Along With The Gods. My main concern is scenes being cut off and details missing since they will pack such a long novel into five movies. Especially since in the first upcoming movie Han Sooyoung won’t make any appearance, suggesting the plot adapted is still very early in the novel. How are they gonna catch up the rest of the plot with only four movies? But honestly I’ll still probably watch to see how it is lol
I never like romance in action comic cz of annoying and clingy FL, let alone if there's harem in it.
