Yea its pretty bad. Not even actually scary, just one gross scene after another.
It was a pretty short manga. A lot story between a golden haired, puppy looking hero and a dark hair, long ears demon king. The demon king was immortal and could piece his body together after being blown to bits. The hero had a sad backstory where his village abandoned him because he was too strong and he wanted to live with the demon king. When they start to fall in love the hero dies and then wakes up as the same species as the demon king and they reunite and live together and the story ends with their happily ever after.
Not sure if it’s a translation issue but the writing/dialogue felt awkward
