As someone who started yaoi from the works of Ogawa Chise, I can mostly tolerate pretty much everything and anything but even i am disappointed by this chapter, i defend this manhwa after every chapter but now i just can't, my face just fell, but i will trust the author (cause i love Red Candy sm and i think she is one of the better BL author out there)
I need a miracle, come on, please please please don't let Rians amazing character fade away, i am scared he will just be broken eventually by Enzo (that will be the saddest shit ever)
I agree with you... Even ogawa has some flow in her content with the possibility or something unexpectedly bright in very dark situations.. but this author is repeating the same pattern for last 20+ chaps with nothing new that we already don't know of the MCs
I expected ogawa's story to be that dark But compared to this, the story just went downhill flat cause the build up was different from what we expected.
Guys, just know that Enzo absolutely did not respect Rian (at this point) imagine him finding something very interesting and wanting to play with it and test it out, doesn't matter if he hurts or break it, he justs wants to play with it to see if it breaks, testing boundaries etc, he did warn very early on not to find the trigger (the thing that will make him interested) cause Rian will regret it. Enzo knows himself, he knows he is capable of very bad sadistic stuff, the warning was there from the very first time they met.
Knowing all this you expect him to be soft and lovey dovey, absolutely not, we all want Enzo to fall and swoon for Rian but that will not happen (for now atleast) and know that possessiveness doesn't come from a place of love, it came from ownership, he basically wants to own Rian, play with him and test him out (not just sexually but mentally as well)
I suspect it will get much worse cause Rian is not the type to break, and that is what Enzo is counting on! He wants the chase, he is thrilled by it, their dynamic is toxic from the very first time they met, so don't expect much on the romantic front

Real, it cringes me out
One of the best power play between the leads, they are like equal, i absolutely love their dynamic!! It takes a lot to play on a level field with a guy like Enzo (dude is bat shit crazy) and Rian is doing a great job (also prolly the reason why Enzo finds him so fascinating)
We do love growth and character development, this manhwa is doing a good job so far (the standard is so low hahaha) but this is truly one of the better ones out there
This manhwa is clearly scratching our brains, discussions like this is one of my fav part of being a BL fan,
most of us (i feel) are pretty reasonable with the complaints, this story is def set up from the beginning to be a bit unhinged, the author usually have a very good flow but rn the flow is kindda interrupted, just because our interpretations and wishes are not met doesn't mean this manhwa is shitty and clearly most of us can see that... I think we all feel bad cause Uno looks so fuckin miserable and in pain.. anyways lets just hope it gets better TT
I wish the author keep sticking to the theme (Enzo being an unhinged lunatic and predator, and Rian being someone who cannot break so easily) but still move forward in their relationship (u know what i mean, i dunno how to phrase it)
