It's so hard to explain exactly what it is but it has the air of something free and limber. It gives me the impression that she just takes the ink pen and holds it like a stirring stick and draws with flicks of her wrist. It's like...it's there but it's like the art is ready to jump off the pages with how thin the lines are, yet despite that there is so much detail in the eyelashes and the hair and the clothing.
What is this magic (づ ° ³ ° )づ
I'm only reading shota for research. I have little siblings that are spaced out so every single shota or loli manga I read has a character that's around their age, so it makes me think of my siblings being molested by people and that isn't a good time in my brain at all -__-
They're so cute, yet this is so...ugh.
i think you can do it..... just keep your mind straight
Drawings on paper, Shea. that's all. Don't take it too literally, it's art. If you watch a movie where people are shot, say, like in those by Tarantino, do you think of your parents or real people while watching that? you don't, do you? Whell, sex isn't worse than being shot. Especially not for people who don't exist, since they're mere figments of someone's imagination...
she's just saying that she's unconsciously associating her siblings with them
and even for those who like yaoi, there are some that are too much for them
let them dislike what they want to dislike, my limit is SM even though a lot of people are into that but it just doesn't appeal to me
I just wanted to put her at ease. If you leave everybody to dislike what they dislike, you leave a lot of upset people to stay upset, and if one can help them put things in perspective, one might make them feel better, so why wouldn't one? The same goes for SM, btw. That is nothing but a game of domination/dominated, meant to relieve the stress that comes with being in a respectively high or low rank on the hierarchichal ladder in Real Life. Fantasizing about whips and chains and yourself in either one or the other position can help you get rid of much frustration. Does that help you?
Cry some more, haters. (︶︿︶)=凸
I haven't read any of her yaoi, but this looks interesting. Finally, some shoujo manga that has realistic proportions that are pleasing to the eye. I also love how the editor shuts her down immediately. I am sick and tired of immature female protagonists in my stories; it gives it a much more realistic feel. On the other hand, he says her manga submitted for the contest was very good, so he's not a sadistic, cold, heartless tsundere that seems common nowadays. I'm actually looking forward to this one.
..how many times I've tried reading this and how many times I've quit it. So many freaking times, I've lost track. Maybe half a dozen? It's just...*I don't care*. I find myself just not caring about these people at all, and that sucks because it looks like it has some nice dark sexual tension, and let's face it everyone, I love that sort of stuff (glances at highly-rated Ogawa Chise's works in my "Read" pile) ..
I love how the author sets up what seem like cliched manga tropes but then pulls the rug out from under you and inserts comedy while still achieving the end game, which is bringing them closer together. Like, this deep friendship they have...I don't care if they end up together or don't. There is something between them, platonic or romantic or whatever ,but it's very endearing and sweet all the same and I love seeing it mosey along in its own way.
I live and breathe for the pairings like Natsuki and Kusakabe. The real neediness that Kusakabe has for being an outcast for so long and being loved (?) and given attention by Natsuki is peeeerfect. Boring? Hardly.
What typical low-self esteem uke tries to stab the crap outta someone? Lol. Don't down play him. He was on the verge of insanity right there and damn near lost himself in this love affair. Hello dynamic character. Where the hell have you been all my life? I love this couple.
I like their story better than the first pairing too! (●'◡'●)ノ
Omg, it's precisely because he's the typical low-esteem uke that he tries to stab someone. How on earth is this being dynamic? He merely lost himself to insanity. He's just the typical dumb uke who gets led around by the nose. No one's trying to downplay him here, we are just stating the facts. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Let's state some real facts: By definition a dynamic character is
a literary or dramatic character who undergoes an important inner change, as a change in personality or attitude. Kobe went from a timid uke to a demanding, righteous jackbutt because he got a taste of some power. And by you denying him of being a dynamic character, you're downplaying him. He is far from a typical low- self esteem uke because for one he fought back for what he wanted. A typical low - self esteem uke would have wallowed in his pity and waited for his seme to ask what the heck is wrong with them so he could be comforted like a baby and done up the ass again. No, Kube said screw that and tried to take care of his own problem. Mind you he was blinded by power and is regretting his actions. Again displaying a dynamic character trait. He is not typical. He actually went out there and did something for once unlike the coward he was. I hope to see this side of him more and that's why I love him. He has a chance to flip himself around and now's the time he can do it. Name one cowardly uke who took that leap on his own? Kube gets a chance to discover himself while the rest are stuck in their ways. And for one, none them tried to stab the crap outta someone. That's straight boss mode.
This was very well put.idk why people hate kusakabe so much....lately the comment section just bashes him.this isnt going to be his last crazy outburst, its the beginning of a new possessive, unprovoked and power hungry kusakabe.
He didn't take the leap on his own--he was lead there by the nose.
You know what's funny to me? People who can't spell or articulate their thoughts well still get thumb ups on this site, but when I put my thoughts down I get ratings that basically say I'm annoying. Oh my special niche is overplayed and cliche but when it's forcibly raping someone in a typical nonsensical smutty yaoi it's all "(≧∀≦)"
I actually haven't read that many yaoi mangas where there is a uke like Kusakabe, and I've read A LOT. Usually they're assholes and push the seme away, or they're raped repeatedly but it just plays out as "they're in a relationship, it's all good" (Okane ga Nai). But whaaatever.
Pretty much its a circlejerk around these parts. Dont agree with the majority and they give out thumbs downs and annoyings. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
That I absolutely do NOT understand. At all.
