Ikuro, Ranzo, and Sachiko all deserve better than this!
Ikuro has been preyed upon and groomed by his butler all his life and feels guilty for bringing Sachiko into this situation. Ranzo is mentally disabled and just wants to love his brother. Sachiko is appalled by the fucked up things going on in this family that she married into and how her husband and brother-in-law are being treated like pawns for sadistic men. It's also heart-breaking that this is set during a time when the mentally ill/disabled weren't thought of as anything more than burdens.
How much more well off would Ranzo be now if someone had treated him like a person instead of an animal from the start? The fact that Sachiko immediately wanted to teach him things and treat him like a person is so sweet. Ranzo deserves that!! (╥﹏╥) Hopefully Sachiko saves them both from the men who wish to destroy the objects of their obsession.
But the rape scene between Horus and Seth was..well done? It was explicit and violent and horrible and realistic in a way that made it out as horrific and traumatizing as the act truly was. I dunno..
I've only read the first chapter and I am LIVING. The sharp papercut style when telling the story of the Egyptian gods, the earthy color palette! This is gonna be a good story, I can tell. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

This is supposed to be a man's introduction into D/S and S/M, and the tone sets itself up to be serious, but I don't know how much time has passed between Chapter 5 and 6. Did they try D/S in Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 is the very next day? And the seme wants to try S/M? Isn't that a little too fast for a comic that wants to explore these sorts of relationship dynamics with someone who is completely ignorant of these things? Or is this supposed to set up for us that these two like to play it fast and loose than should be normal between an established couple? I dunno, this comic gives me mixed feelings because of this lopsided narrative. （￣へ￣）
I think some chapters were flashbacks .
I really didn't expect the story to go into this. I expected it to be purely Seth x Horus, but this is even better! And it honestly sort of feels like something the gods would do, given that it's Ancient Egypt and non-Abrahamic faiths play much more fast and loose with relatable human emotions.
