I feel like yukine is up to something. He said his father is still killing him and then calls out father to yato's dad. The way he smells the flower kinda feels like he know it's from hiyori. Maybe I'm delusional
You may be onto something with him sniffing the flower. I do feel like Hiyori would be the only one able to pull him away from yato’s dad though.
Personally I would prefer yato to pull him out cause the manga have been playing with the idea that yato is yukine's father figure and it would be a nice conclusion to yukine's "father problem arc"
