i was suddenly curious, does Grayson and Dane have that "he fell first, but he fell harder" trope? and if so who fell first and who fell harder?
i was just realizing that a lot of couples fight over the most impractical and sometimes trivial reasons there is, drag themselves and sometimes other people through an emotional rollercoaster, and then they still stay together in the end. i was giving Garam flack for running away and refusing to change anything, and Jaehyuk for being insistent on coming out one-sidedly and then following Garam around instead of giving him space. but looking back, them fighting then coming back together is such a frustratingly predictable dumb and dumber in love move. i'm mostly relieved we didn't had a time skip of them separated

...and based on the ones i read, i suppose it's time i edited my tags and rating on this manhwa. but seriously wtf, all those unnecessary dramas with these formerly wholesome characters? Taesung and Haebom deserve better than tropes. their story ended at season 4 for me and nothing can make me change my mind on that especially since i dropped season 5 and hadn't seen a peep of the "new updates". not even on other platforms. i avoid anything cbaw related. it's just really disappointing when readers who'd also followed their journey from day one and are still following them on this nonsense season, are collectively dissing the author or wishing the author started an entirely new story with whatever this season is about. it's unfair that Taesung and Haebom had to be recycled and dragged down like this

so several comments back, novel readers said that Grayson's a mimic and that he's not like most common people when it comes to human empathy—that most of the Miller fam members are "unique" in a way apparently. it's bad enough that he's currently in a line of business that requires attention and sympathy but even worse that he can't even quit coz of the deal he made with his dad. if i read this without being aware of Grayson's psychological trait i would've been screaming for him to quit regardless of the deal. but here i am worrying coz were probably not gonna see much change to him except for when it comes to Dane later on but for the first time, i am desperately hoping that a character will still learn something about empathy at least as the story progresses
marinating this until it was complete was sooooo worth it! this is a masterpiece! a masterpiece i tell ya! i absolutely love how the stories are woven together especially when exploring other characters and their stories and the time progression! this story was flowing! some characters had a not so ideal ending but that made this story even more endearing, with the exception of the old perverted king coz he deserved his ending tbh. i wouldn't say I'm satisfied tho, like, i wish there was more of this but at the same time i love how it ended with everyone—mostly everyone—happy, and i think there's enough potential for certain characters to have a spin-off, just sayin.
