YALL… has anyone read the manhwa Hold Over U? is it good?? i read the first 15 chapters and honestly it feels kinda recycled
ive been wanting to read this since 2024 but now that i finally did it wasn’t what i expected… help is it actually good? should i continue?
...when I tell you that I had the SAME EXACT experience. I had been eyeing it and letting it marinate for a while and had high expectations (both because of the reviews & ratings and because it seemed interesting in general), and I WANTED to like it but I dropped it around the same time as you because I just couldn't get into it (when I'm not interested even after 10-20 chapters it usually means that I'm not gonna like it in 40 chapters either, I know because I always try to finish the ones that are completed).
This actually happened to me with A LOT of super hyped BL manhwas, and I always think: am I actually the problem? LMAO. Why do I find this so boring and/or frustrating when everybody loved it so much and it has a 9.5+ rating? (it's not because they're necessarily slice of life or something, I like those types of stories as well, I just found them boring in general)
