I dont think she will be full of herself but give her a boost of confidence. As we seen, she's very timid but everyone now and then she gets a boost of confidence which helps her with the events.

HOWEVER, yunshen was wrong not to go after them. Those babies went through a lot and they need a hug and emotional support from their dad, that is not spoiling them. And where are the combat pets?
He absolutely should get mad at the seme though. Aslan handled that all wrong imho. It's fine to go to the base and see the kids but he should've talked to yun shen BEFORE leaving the base and going back to his hotel, and get his consent for once. Yunshen knowsA Aslan still wants the kids and an empty man for power and political reasons, Aslan admitted this even though that is not the whole truth. (Yunshen doesn't know that Aslan liked him for him or that he staged sex with yunshen 7 years ago bc he wasn't man enough to confess, but I digress.)

So to clarify, the mercenaries are loyal so yunshen and there is no danger from the forest monsters so I think their physical safety is not concerning...their emotional state does require yunshen's attention and understanding.

They are safe in this CURRENT chapter because their enemies didn't attack them. They have that private place with their ally merceneries and forest monster. But what will they do if the crown prince or the older brother attack them? What if at the same time? Can they handle it? I will always think of those possibilities and maybe don't let my children out. But no, he let them outside knowing he has powerful enemies.
