Can someone tell me if the plot is good overall? Like do you find yourself cringing from secondhand embarrassment all the time when reading this, or are there other elements to the story that help further the plot?
Her thoughts, her actions are a bit much, but if the plot is good, then I'm going to read it of course. I started reading it, but I already feel myself cringing a bit from the secondhand embarrassment, but I'm not sure if that's all there is to the story. Yeah I kinda stopped reading cuz the secondhand embarrassment is too much for me to handle lmao. I'm usually resistant to those but the MC's action is too much (￣∇￣")
But from what I've read of the spoiler of those raws(up to 40?) I'd say it's worth it. The romance between MC and Izana is cute. The antagonist is Lerajie's grandfather who was the one that put up the curse on child!Izana. ML wants to cure his curse(which succeed in the end).
I'm just trying to wait for the season 1 finale(ch40) to translate, and will probably binge watch it.

Yo, so I started this thinking it was going to be cute n stuff, but noO, it's not. It's not cute. Once I saw Yul/Yuri's room in one of the beginning chapters, I was like aight Imma head out. It's quite scary when you see how obsessed Yul/Yuri is, in regards to Sian, and then when you find out all the effort he's put into stalking Sian, it's just wAcK, it has passed just being 'obsessive' or 'infatuated'. The best advice for Yul, is to Stop it. Get some help.
I understand the pressure of society, given that in comparison to us, the time period seems to be late medieval and later than that(idk, maybe early to mid 1700 at the latest(? Feel free to correct me)), and as much as I want to claim that the injury to the girls honor is exaggerated, it isn't. Like the smallest 'scandal' could mean social suicide, which is like so f**king annoying, like get off your high horse you damn Oedipus. But it sucks big time for Yuri, because homeboy was just like "oh sh*t I think this gorl's suffocating" and she just wanted to help. The rational thing to do, would be to get help, however we can't expect everyone to be rational in stressful situations. Yuri panicked, because she was scared of the girl dying right then and there, which is completely understandable, she couldn't have possibly known that the corset wasn't the root of the problem. Which is why the chaos that ensued feels so frustrating.
That aside I do believe that the queens punishment/challenge is more than a little unfair(damn high society) but Yuri will probably be able to pull it off, because she's just that amazing.

Aight first off she is in no way obligated to show respect to this guy. She didn't know him and to top it off she found out that he was stalking her. she's not a "bitch" for not wanting to go or for burning that creepy ass notebook.
I mean, how would you feel if some fucking guy asked you to go to the funeral of a guy who you didn't even know, just because the dead guy had a crush on you. And then while at the funeral his mom gives you his diary that's filled with thing's about you, with specific dates and times. LIKe bitch? I'd be creeped the fuck out!
what's worse is that his own mother and best friend just stood on the sidelines and let him be a little creeper, they inhibited that stalking behaviour, which would only make him think that he isn't doing anything wrong.
I honestly have no idea as to why anyone hates this girl. She's coping quite well with having found out that she was being stalked.
