This story is def just stockholm syndrome and i truly pity the FL. After she gets out of prison, her brother keeps her imprisoned at her home...like with a whole ass chain around her ankles. She remains imprisoned there for 4 years. The prison warden (second lead) is the only guy that's actually decent. He becomes her fiancee and he's willing to free her and help her run away (bc all he wants is for her to be happy) but she doesn't let him do that bc she knows that chase will kill him. Chase kidnaps the OG FL so that she'll become the FL's playmate. The warden and the FL free her though. Also OG Iyana had feelings for chase but they weren't reciprocated (plottwist am i right). idk when or how he figures it out but chase knows that the FL is from a different world. You don't see this on the manhwa cover but on the novel cover you see each lead (+ OG female lead) holding a rose. The roses do play a significant part in the story but it's rlly complicated. Chase has a black rose and that means obsession (hence his obsession with the FL). Also Chase kissed Iyana....i don't know what her response do that was but it happened. Side note they are adopted siblings but still very -_- of them. The ML gets mad at the FL for not keeping her promise and meeting up with him after 1 year and then he kidnaps her and imprisons her...yeah. Chase does try to get her back and tries to use his rose to communicate with her but she ignores him. The ML thinks that the FL got close to him so that she could hurt him bc he found out who her brother was. She tries to explain that she forgot her memories when she woke up after her heart stopped but he doesn't listen to ANYTHING that she says. This part gets really sad and pitiful so bear with me. When he put her in the room that she would be imprisoned in, she asked him if he would put a chain on her ankle (bc of what chase did) and then he says no. Later on he goes to bring her, her food, but she refuses to eat unless he feeds her. Then she asked the ML to bring her prison clothes but he refuses and instead brings her clothes of similar comfort. After a while he figures out what Chase has been up to (it took a while bc it's hard to get info on him) and he realizes that he kept the FL chained and imprisoned for 4 years which is why she broke her promise. He pieces together all of her actions and realizes that she was reminiscing in her prison days bc that was the freest she had ever been (this poor poor girl oml) He goes to her (prison) room and starts crying and apologizing. He offers to let her go but she says she'll stay bc she'd rather be imprisoned by someone she likes. Back to the roses, the ML has a red rose and that is desire. The warden has a yellow rose and that means protection (he just wants to protect the FL and make her happy

true they've known each other longer but tess is old enough to be his kid if he had one, remember he's mentally 30ish and it doesn't sit right with me that he'd be interested in someone so young just because his appearance is the same age as her.

God, yes. This manga took Richard's relationship into a twist. At first I adore Henry Lancaster with Richard and then there's sincere love from Edward for Richard (sadly he died so early). Then there's Richard's loyal man Catesby. I thought Catesby could be potential love interest. But bam the little boy Buckingham grew into such a hunk and swoop Richard's feet from all those love interest lmao and yes, Richard x Buckingham is definitely such a power couple

On other side, Anne can't be the endgame. She's always used for political but I hope she can reconcile with everything. She's a sad character imo.

With respect i cant really agree. So yeah
Richard did achieved the throne but is it actually worth it? He destroyed hes own family himself and imprisoned hes own brothers sons which i completely agree they deserve it the thing is, is the thron really worth it? He abandoned all of the people who loved him. Bukingham loves Richard for who he is truly. But he is the one who encouraged him to be more cruel, wicked and be thirsty for power. While Henry loved Richard as well but the different was, while everyone saw him as devil he saw the good inside him and even told him your my angel. Whenever richard was with henry he forgot about his miseries and his desire for throne. If we taking about characteristic growth i think henry is much better for him than Buckingham.
Im gonna look at this more deeply and phychologically. Bukingham encourages Richards greed while henry shoe him a happiness without bloodshed and betrayal. Richard has a good vs evil war within him self .bukingham embraces the evil side and henry embraces the good side. Yes a truly savage and cruel character is so cool but does it brings Richard true happiness?
P.s:
Perhaps you might mention the time henry called Richard devil, i have to say he was one the edge of insanity. He mistook richard with hes own mother and then repeated what Richards mother had planted in hes weakened mind. While we see how henry still loves Richard although he doesn't even remember him!

I completely agree asghar, Henry gave richard true peace and happiness, henry allowed richard to forget his sorrows and forget that he is "evil". Whereas Buckingham encourages him into believing he is a demon, but that its ok to be evil. would love to discuss more about henry with you! ヾ(☆▽☆)

In the history of England they say henry was one of the weakest king they ever had but the thing is.. he got into crown when he was nine month! Basically other authorities ruled the England and eventually lost French (which was dominated by Henry's father) his mother was a French princess who had no interest in favouring england. So how would Henry could become a good king with a mother who doesn't pay attention to him nor the kingdom and grown ups who wants him as kid to be a king. And they would influence in him the way they wanted. Henry became so religious maby to seek the love and peace he couldn't have. He dread of killing humans which in their time was coward while we now know its the right mindset. he is the founder of oxford cambridge and some other universities. He focused his attention more to knowledge than denomination.
Unfortunately he end up getting mad like hes french grandfather. And was murdered after Edward succeeding the throne like in the manga.
But my point is.. they call him a weak coward and the worse king of England but he was just too open minded and modern for hes time. Im really glad this story gaved depth to his character.

TOTALLY, he said it himself in the manga!! That he didnt rise taxes, that he tried to look out for his people and avoid war, he wasnt belligerant thats why they said he was a bad king but its all the contrary, his worry was always giving the best and peace for his people. And dont get me started with his relationship with richard ┗( T﹏T )┛

Tbh i think anne is just a plain character and ngl if Edward didn't die he and anne would be a good couple
