What really bothers me is how that coworker was the one who brought it up that taeha might like haesoo and when haesoo actually thought it might be true, she immediately shut her down. But she was the one who brought it up first? I feel like there’s a way she wanted haesoo to respond, like she wanted her to say a hot, young dude like taeha could never like an old hag like her. But haesoo didn’t actually say that for once, she got annoyed and shut haesoo down.
I hate people who behaves like that honestly. But I guess she just proves that the saying 'misery loves company' to be universal. Because she was all buddy buddy when Hae-soo was saying that Tae ha would be dumb to like her only because he rejected her. But when she asked again and didn't hear the same bs which in Hae-soo didn't even say anything she flipped like when you almost get caught watching hentai or omething

Anyone has any similar recs to this? A historical romance which isn’t just a copy paste villainess isekai or based on 19th century British/european history? This is such a breath of fresh air.
pls reply if u find one coz im finding them too huhu
You can read one by the same author, the whale star. There is another one with similar historical drama trope, emerald midnight’s lover.
