The way their relationship developed is kinda iffy to me cause it’s like the top just forced his feelings onto the bottom then got upset after. Like it’s good to have some backbone(ish) but to go out if ur way to kiss and practically have sex with someone who you admit was very much drunk then getting upset the next day cause he wasn’t on the same track is kinda hypocritical. I’d expect at least for him to confess but still keep his hands to himself and not go all the way when u don’t even know your partner’s feelings… I just feel like there was a ton of shit the bottom was supposed to address and deal with first before they got together but Yaoi mangas prioritize sex over story so

Idk why it’s such a common theme in yaoi(this doesn’t even count as BL) mangas where they’re always like ‘oh the seme stubbed his toe when he was little and uke helped but seme decided to take it personally AND RAPE THEM CAUSE THEY THINK ITS AN EQUIVALENT TO WHAT THEYVE BEEN THEOUGH?? Like sure they art was good and all but to have rape that isn’t even discussed as something that’s actually bad and only has the uke suddenly forgiving the seme is just… and most times the ‘love’ the uke has for the Seme doesn’t even look to be that degree it’s always so forced just because ‘oh boy on boy action.’ Like cmon it’s not that hard to make a story (even with gangs and such) that doesn’t involve rape(or does but actually addresses it properly and develops the relationship properly). But, these type of stories are always so popular just because it has sex even it’s non consensual..
