Maybe don’t name your bf after your long-time unrequited love? Like, that’s a really dick move, no matter what color hair he has. Mizuchi or Kaito weren’t options? Akagi isn’t even a first name. I’d punch Mr. Change-of-heart until he came up with a name that showed more thought than a drunk episode of Family Feud. I like the story but the name thing still bothers me.
Another romantic rival?? We just moved past Subaru!! They’ve both already had to save the other from being raped! There is enough going on without some extra trying to butt in.
Give us the confrontation with Megumi’s dad. Give us them graduating and finally becoming mates. Give us more of Tsugumi being a caring older brother to Suzume, and of Megumi starting to join in. Hell, give Subaru a redemption moment where he protects Tsugumi and grudgingly accepts their relationship!
