In the first chapter ml felt a heavy sense of dread regarding the summer festival, largely because her tight budget prevented her from purchasing a new outfit to match her three best friends. When she arrived at their meeting spot in her old, faded clothes, she discovered they were all wearing identical outfits, instantly making her feel like an outsider, a feeling compounded when they paired her with a stranger to avoid her being the only one without a date. That’s all i can remember
Is the story good??
It’s an acquired taste, but I certainly enjoyed it.
