If he felt distracted by his feelings, that’s not the necessarily the seme’s fault. He began to like him on his own. He distracted himself sometimes (there is a scene where the seme is studying and the uke is the one not concentrating). Also his pride is kind of frustrating.
The seme is partly responsible for what happened. The Ike had to practically beg him to leave him be for some time to better focus on his studies. The seme is like a spoiled brat who doesn’t understand that outside of his bubble people are trying to survive. While the seme’s biggest problem was his school crush on the uke and accepting his feelings. The uke’s biggest problem was trying to get out of poverty. Both problems don’t compare. Also, when you’re poor pride is the only thing you have left.

He can’t blame the uke for distracting him when he’s not around. Seme might be spoiled but in no way did he aim for the uke to fail so I think it’s laying it thick to blame him like he’s 100% at fault and he wanted this to happen. Pride can be a virtue and an also a bad trait as well.
I mean you can’t always blame the seme (not uke) when he’s not even there. There’s two scenes like that.
The seme approached the uke while lying directly to his face. Had sex with him which wouldn’t have happened at that time UNLESS he lied to the uke. After using the uke to fulfill his needs, he still kept lying rather than reveal the truth. In other words, unless the teacher had revealed that the seme was a top student, the seme would have NEVER revealed that he had lied because at no point he felt guilty about his actions before he was called out. I said “partly” not fully. He is still to blame for taking time out of the uke’s day that he could have used to prepare better. And although the uke was still distracted when the seme wasn’t there, that only occurred once whereas the seme kept distracting the uke multiple times. I’m sorry if I sound confrontational. The capital letters is not meant to represent screaming. Just to add emphasis.
Wait... he didn’t force himself on the uke for sex. The uke wanted to do it. He genuinely liked the uke and even said so and the uke agreed. No need to rewrite the narrative. They liked each other and other then forcing the kiss which he got smacked up for and again, he stated his interest and the uke accepted it. The lying about his intelligence was stupid but he also has to do well to appease his family. What should he have done? Failed?

Approaching someone while lying to that person because you know that lying is the only way at the moment that they could get close together and end up sleeping together is wrong. The uke was tricked into having sex with someone that lied to him and approached him using deceptive tactics. I would say that showing his naked body in front of the uke after he took a shower was a way to pressure the uke by teasing him. No one is expecting him to fail. But the problem is that the seme had no intention of coming clean until he was called out by someone else. We know what the seme thinks in the text bubbles and at no point did he show remorse or stated that he was eventually going to reveal the truth. If he’s capable of lying about somehh the ing that the uke finds so important such as school, then he can lie about much more serious issues. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
