People are hating Jaeha because they don't understand how he works. He was abandoned by his mother, his father didn't care about him, and he was betrayed by the first person he was romantically involved with. He experienced rejection and was basically bullied in school. Of course, he's going to be selfish and distrustful, and obviously, he's going to think he has zero right to be loved. What he heard from Eunha affected him so much because Eunho's family was his only support and safe place. Eunho's mother was the first to hear he was getting married. Jaeha felt he was doing wrong by dating him and let him go. I liked the story. Years of trauma simply aren't healed by the power of love. Jaeha fell in love, he was vulnerable, he was hit with a harsh dose of reality, and he let him go. Years passed, and he was finally able to accept who he is, his past, and what he wants. I think it's a beautiful story.
