No, im with U in that. I dont even remember them meeting each other until the banquet. And it was there she started accusing Edith for poisoning blondie and killian defending her saying that he thought she was the last person who should have been effected with all those rumors and yadayadayada (u know the drill). But yea, I don’t remember them having horse riding classes with each other in the novels (maybe it happened later?)

Ch. 40 was the horse riding lessons. They have met twice but I agree it's staged a little weirdly at the end of this chapter.

My guess is that the discussion between Reeze and the princess was synchronised with the start of the new arc.

During the horse riding lessons, Edith was able to get along with her but in order to start the new arc, the system "deleted" this and put the princess back in the list of Edith's ennemies. And so, in this arc the setting will be that the princess is mad at Edith/humiliates her in public.

And the system did that because Edith has changed the storyline. Since the duchess is on her side now, it's likely that the events planned in the novel can't happen so the system created a new conflict that will appear at the same time and place as the original conflict.

This is entirely my guess tho. The end of the chapter could be misleading.

No in The novel. I do remember her going to cliff study room talking when killian and Lise went to go shopping. Am i hallucinating right now!?????

I don't know about the Novel but in the manhwa, after Edith gets poisoned & feels better, she gets invited to the palace by the princess (ch 28/29), where the princess is rude to her and she defends herself. The princess teaches her how to ride a horse (at the request of Killian) starting in ch 40. She has been regularly receiving lessons since then. Ch 40 is when Lize and Killian go shopping and she goes to the palace with Cliff, and on the way home, he tells her they have a mutual interest (keeping Killian and Lize away from each other) + asks about the maid.

I believe these two palace interactions are the only times we SEE Edith and the princess interact.

i just read the novel, they never met before the ball, they changed it in the manhwa dunno why ╮(￣▽￣)╭
in the novel its was sooo cool how they fist met in my opinion, she went from being a meh character to a super cool one, and even helps Killian to show how he fights for Edith. in the manhwa Edith meets the princess and shows her that she is not who she thinks, making Edith looks like a badass queen.. maybeee thats the goal of the change? (=・ω・=)
