I don’t think some of the people in the comments really understand to what extent Seth was wronged. Seth was once kind and rational. He loved his wife and all his siblings. He devoted himself to Egypt. This all continued for centuries. What broke Seth was what he got as a result of centuries worth of hard work and sacrifice. He found out that the wife that he loved so much and respected greatly betrayed and lie to him for centuries. It wasn’t just 1-2 years of betrayal but centuries. His brother, Osiris, who Seth thought was the ultimate and just ruler, who Seth absolutely adored as a brother, tricked and betrayed him too. His son that he loved more than anything wasn’t even his own. This all happened at the same time. For Seth to find out that way that the son he loved with his absolute being wasn’t his son but the son of the brother who betrayed him shattered him. Even despite this Seth was ready to still accept Anubis as HIS son. Seth was ready to forgive his wife and brother as well but Osiris betrayed him again the very same day. He held Anubis’s life hostage just so he can rape Seth. He raped Seth and belittled him as a God. He tortured Seth with his beloved son’s soul as hostage. Rape for an ordinary person is too much to handle but for a being that lived as a god for centuries and has the pride and respect of one, who devoted so many centuries to Egypt while being away on the battlefield surrounding by death and suffering all alone, it was just too much for him to mentally handle. Isis saw but didn’t help Seth. She in turned blamed him and cursed him including herself. The thing Seth wanted most was family but due to Isis’s curse he couldn’t have that. His already broken mind under the influence of the curse’s effect on him deteriorated him more. This led to him being harsh with Anubis. His frustration and pain that he held in his heart for centuries led him to do what he did to humans who looked like Isis, Osiris and Anubis when he disappeared and Seth was desperately trying finding him. I agree that what Seth did to the humans was wrong and he should be punished but don’t forget the start of all this was Osiris. To the gods killing humans isn’t new and worth noting. They all do it to fulfil their agendas but they made it a point to hold is up against Seth only because Seth overpowered them. The true victim of this story is Seth. It is true that Seth needs to be held accountable for the human’s he’s killed but what the gods are doing is not for the humans Seth has killed but for themselves. While talking about justice throughout the competition they were the ones being unfair while Seth was the only one actually being fair. They talked about how poor Seth treated Anubis all the while manipulating Anubis for their own benefit. Anubis trusting Osiris and Isis blindly while not trying to find out the truth from Sekhmat. So yeah even despite everything the true victim of it all who lost everything was Seth. Then comes Anubis. No one apart from these two deserve any happiness and satisfaction.
