Hi, does anyone know this story? It's more of a video game-style story where the world turns into a game. The protagonist is murdered in the first chapter along with his sister. At that moment, he goes back in time to the day Earth went crazy and decides he's going to level up his skills as much as possible so that no one can ever touch him or his family again.
I think the first thing they have to do is max out some kind of weapon skill — you start the game in this sort of storage room or something. He becomes an expert in every kind of weapon, from blades to firearms.
Man, I don’t remember what happens in the middle, but I think I stopped at a part where there’s a “stage” or a “level” where the players are trapped in a white room and have to figure out who was chosen by the game to carry some kind of insignia — and if you kill that person, you get the insignia, and in the end, everyone else has to die (?). In that part, they’re being watched by others who can place bets.
